Notice of Enforcement

When contractors or construction managers knowingly or unknowingly violate the terms of their stormwater and drainage permits, they’re notified by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and asked to voluntarily correct the problem with a Notice of Violation (NOV).

If they do not correct the problem, contractors are then served a Notice of Enforcement, which is a notice that the TCEQ is taking legal action against the construction firm or contractor to achieve local code enforcement for stormwater drainage and sediment runoff standards.

Handling a Notice of Enforcement the right way is critical to ensuring the construction firm or contractor DOES NOT get shut down by the TCEQ.

Blue Palm Environmental has experience helping contractors, both large and small, navigate environmental regulations in Texas and handle Notices of Enforcement, permitting, and other related matters.
